January 2019 – Iron Mountain achieves Building Permit Approval and Capstone Construction Occupy Site
Insight Project Services are delivering the new Iron Mountain facility in Perth and are pleased to announce that Capstone Constructions have secured the forward works building permit for the project and occupied site in early February 2019. Works are well underway and we look forward to another successful project with the Capstone, Linc Property and Gibb Group team.
The expansion of the existing Oceaneering Workshops at Jandakot achieved PC in January 2019 with PS Structures delivering another quality asset for Jandakot City Holdings. We hope Oceaneering enjoy the new facility.

Project Storm Cape Pty Ltd engaged Insight Project Services (Insight) to oversee and project manage the design and construction of the new Iron Mountain Warehouse and Office Facility in Gnangara Perth.
The site is 18,825sqm and the new facility has been designed specifically to suit the bespoke operational requirements of the Tenant.
The facility consists of a 11,490sqm warehouse, 500sqm Vault, 700sqm of office inclusive of amenities and lunch room space.
Unique to the project is a 4 hour fire rated 500sqm double volume secure storage vault that is gaseous fire suppressed and atmospherically controlled for the highest quality of document storage and care.

Our Role Project Manager and Superintendent
Project Jandakot City Holdings (JCH) engaged Insight Project Services (Insight) to oversee and project manage the design and construction of the new Schenck Process Warehouse and Workshop Facility in Jandakot.
The site is 38,989sqm and the new facility has been designed specifically to suit the bespoke operational requirements of the Tenant.
The facility consists of a 10,560sqm warehouse and workshop facility inclusive of amenities and lunch room space. An office of 1,500sqm will be provided and parking for 218 cars. The external hardstand comprises approximately 26,000sqm of heavy-duty concrete pavement. 4 x 30T travelling gantry cranes are included in the scope of work.
Schenck’s requirements have been incorporated into the design from inception. Tenant specific servicing provisions have been included to cater for the Tenants assembly requirements and specialist blasting and washdown facilities.
We are pleased to announce that Jandakot City Holdings (JCH) appointed Insight to the role of Project Manager and Superintendent for the new Schenck Process Warehouse, Office and Workshops. The project consists of 1,300sqm of new office space, 10,560sqm of Workshop and Warehouse space, 144sqm of wash/blasting bays, parking for 218 vehicles and approximately 26,000sqm of external concrete hardstand pavements. PS Structures have been appointed as the Design and Construct Builder and the project was kicked-off on 3 December 2018 with Practical Completion scheduled for 20 December 2019.
After a long process of design and consultation, Forrest Hall Stage 2 was unanimously recommended for development approval by the City of Perth Local Development Assessment Panel on 22 November 2018. Congratulations to all involved and we can’t wait to proceed with the next phase of the project.
IPS are proud to have been selected as the Project Manager for the new Equinix Data Centre in Shenton Park Perth. IPS were selected for our specific experience and knowledge of services and recent work on data exchange facilities and complex engineering projects. Our client – Equinix – is an American multinational company headquartered in Redwood City California, that specialises in internet connection and related services. It is a global colocation data centre provider, leading by market share, operating 175+ data centres in 44 metropolitan areas in 22 countries on 5 continents. The project will be delivered in the second quarter of 2019 and we look forward to great success with Equinix and their team.
Our Role Superintendent
Project David Jones Pty Ltd engaged Insight Project Services to oversee and provide Superintendent services for the fit out of the new David Jones store constructed as part of the $350m expansion of Carousel Shopping Centre.
The store comprises of 8,000m2 of floorspace split over
2 levels and includes over 45 concessions, café and customer service facilities.
The fit-out works were integrated with the base building works to ensure the tenancy would be completed and ready for trading by 30th August 2018. Insight were responsible for the administration of 2 separate contracts to deliver the full design and construction of the new store.
