The expansion of the existing Oceaneering Workshops at Jandakot achieved PC in January 2019 with PS Structures delivering another quality asset for Jandakot City Holdings. We hope Oceaneering enjoy the new facility.
We are pleased to announce that Jandakot City Holdings (JCH) appointed Insight to the role of Project Manager and Superintendent for the new Schenck Process Warehouse, Office and Workshops. The project consists of 1,300sqm of new office space, 10,560sqm of Workshop and Warehouse space, 144sqm of wash/blasting bays, parking for 218 vehicles and approximately 26,000sqm of external concrete hardstand pavements. PS Structures have been appointed as the Design and Construct Builder and the project was kicked-off on 3 December 2018 with Practical Completion scheduled for 20 December 2019.
After a long process of design and consultation, Forrest Hall Stage 2 was unanimously recommended for development approval by the City of Perth Local Development Assessment Panel on 22 November 2018. Congratulations to all involved and we can’t wait to proceed with the next phase of the project.
IPS are proud to have been selected as the Project Manager for the new Equinix Data Centre in Shenton Park Perth. IPS were selected for our specific experience and knowledge of services and recent work on data exchange facilities and complex engineering projects. Our client – Equinix – is an American multinational company headquartered in Redwood City California, that specialises in internet connection and related services. It is a global colocation data centre provider, leading by market share, operating 175+ data centres in 44 metropolitan areas in 22 countries on 5 continents. The project will be delivered in the second quarter of 2019 and we look forward to great success with Equinix and their team.
The Vale Bar and Brasserie on the corner of Beeliar Drive and Durnin Avenue Yangebup achieved Practical Completion on the 13th of Nov 2017 and opened its doors to the public at 4pm on the 22nd Nov 2017 (3 weeks ahead of schedule). IPS fulfilled the role of Project Manager and Superintendent and would like to extend its thanks to the Builder (Perkins TPD) and the entire consultant team for their efforts in achieving completion ahead of schedule and for the fantastic outcome achieved by all.

BGC achieved Practical Completion of the Redcastle Apartment project on 31 March 2017 and we are proud to have been a part of the project and congratulate BGC on a fantastic job and Handle Property Group on another successful development.
On 7 November 2016 a significant milestone occurred for the St Vincent de Paul Society of WA – IPS successfully handed over the new Vinnies State Headquarters in Canning Vale. Practical Completion was reached (ahead of schedule) and Vinnies will now be able to expand their already broad range of services to help disadvantaged people in our community. IPS commenced on the project more than three years ago with a Business Case, Development Feasibility, Site Acquisition Services and then Project Management and Superintendent services for the delivery stage. The project has been a labour of love and we have enjoyed working with the Vinnies team and seeing the project through from inception to completion.
The $350m redevelopment of Mandurah Forum Shopping Centre was launched yesterday (4th April 2016) by the WA Premier, Colin Barnett with the co-owners, Vicinity Centres and ISPT. The redevelopment will include an extensive renovation to the existing centre and a significant expansion which will transform the centre into one of WA’s leading Major Regional shopping centres.
The centre will almost double in size with an additional 26,000m2 of new retail floor space including a new 4,000m2 David Jones, new Target store, and over 220 tenancies on completion.
Works are scheduled to commence on site in early May 2016 with IPS continuing to provide Project Management services through to completion in 2018.
Halls Head Central opened on March 17 after a $55m redevelopment of the centre by its co-owners Vicinity Centres and ISPT.
IPS were proud to assist Vicinity with the transformation of the centre from a small 6,000m2 neighbourhood centre to a 19,000m2 sub regional centre which included a refurbished Coles supermarket, brand new K-Mart and Aldi along with 55 additional tenancies and over 600 new car bays. A new family friendly casual dining precinct with a dedicated alfresco area and new shaded beach-themed playground will deliver a much welcomed facility for the local community
The redevelopment was completed in just over 12 months from commencing works on site.
Insight was recently engaged by Sealy of Australia to deliver their Head Office, Factory and Warehouse for Western Australia. The project comprises a 4,900sqm warehouse/factory, 480sqm Office, associated amenity and external works. The appointment continues our presence within the newly created Swan Brewery Industrial Estate in Canningvale and we look forward to delivering this project for the client.
