Project MKSEA Pty Ltd (MKSEA) engaged Insight Project Services (Insight) to oversee and project manage the design and construction of the new Silk Logistics Distribution Facility, which is the second major industrial facility constructed in the Roe Highway Logistics Park Kewdale.

The site is 40,344m2 and the new facility has been designed specifically to suit the bespoke operational requirements of the Tenant.

The facility consists of a 21,000m2 warehouse facility inclusive of amenities and dock office. An office of 500m2 will be provided and parking for 75 cars. The external hardstand comprises approximately 15,540m2 of heavy-duty and light-duty concrete pavement. The facility stores more than 500,000 Litres of various classes of Dangerous Goods and includes ICB Diesel storage and Aerosol storage. Class 3 DG’s are stored in a fully racked and ESFR sprinkler protected portion of the Warehouse.  Rainwater harvesting and a roof top 100kW solar PV array are included in the scope of works.

Silk’s requirements have been incorporated into the design from inception with racking, loose furniture, security, IT,
WIFI services all being delivered under the Head Contract with Q Design and Construct.

Iron Mountain Project – Achieves PC 6 Weeks of Schedule

IPS are pleased to announce the completion of the new Iron Mountain Document Storage facility in Boom Street Gnangara.  The project was delivered 6 weeks ahead of schedule and 100% defect free on the date for PC.  It is by far and away the most complete project we have overseen and delivered to a client on the date for PC.  Capstone and its entire project team have delivered a great project of exceptional quality and we had an enjoyable project journey along the way.

February 2019 – Kincrome achieves Building Permit Approval and Pirone Construction Occupy Site

Pirone Builders have commenced work on site for the new Kincrome Warehouse and works are progressing well.  Practical Completion is due in September 2019.
