Quattro South Hedland

Insight was engaged to submit to Landcorp on behalf of BHPB an EOI for four lots located in the South Hedland Town Centre. After being selected as the preferred proponent by Landcorp, IPS was engaged by BHPB as the project manager responsible for negotiating the purchase contract, design coordination, approvals, internal funding approvals and procurement strategy. The project had a value in excess of $100M.

The high quality Quattro project was a 42 town house and 320 single bed operations FIFO facility utilising a modular construction methodology. The design incorporates a central dining facility suitable for 300 persons, 1,200m2 of commercial floor space and is designed to activate the street frontage and integrate with the South Hedland Town Centre Precinct.

Insight was commissioned by BHPB to prepare an EOI for submission to Landcorp as part of the process for selecting a preferred developer. Insight developed a design concept and in conjunction with the design team and BHPB was selected as preferred developer but subsequently withdrew from the process due to a change in strategy surrounding the Outer Harbour project. The project value was in excess of $300M.
