Dexus engaged Insight Project Services as Project Manager and Superintendent for the design and construction of the new speculative warehouse units at 19 and 21 Pilatus St, Jandakot Airport. The development formed part of Dexus’ strategic market approach to construct a number of warehouse units ahead of securing tenants.

The development consists of 6 warehouse and office units across 2 buildings, totally 24,000sqm. The units range in size from 3,000sqm to 5,500sqm, with recessed docks to 2 of the 6 units. The development incudes external heavy duty concrete hardstand, asphalt parking facilities and landscaping.

Fire Services are fed from a common Estate fire tank and pump facility servicing 4 separate sites.

The project required careful consideration through the design stage, including provisions to accommodate a range of future tenant requirements, associated potential base build upgrades, and renewable energy options.
