FIFE Capital (FIFE) engaged Insight Project Services (Insight) in 2016 for the purpose of managing the design, approval, tender and construction of the new Kent Removals DC in Perth Western Australia.

The development consists of a new 5,015m2 depot/warehouse space, 500m2 office, 150m2 wash down bay, 195 car bays and associated hardstand and landscaping. 

The site on which the development is proceeding was previously the Nufarm Fertilizer Plant in Welshpool. Insight managed the demolition of the existing structures, decontamination and re-classification of the site and saved FIFE $100k in the re-classification process through alternative audit methods. Reclassification of the site was a detailed and lengthy process, which we successfully negotiated on behalf of FIFE. Numerous service easements cross the site and a number of these needed to be expunged and services diverted around the site to accommodate the development.
