Our Role: Contract Advisor and Works Inspector to the State

The Midland Health Campus accommodates a general hospital providing services to public patients free of charge and a private hospital providing services to private patients. The Health Campus has 307 public beds and offers a comprehensive range of clinical services including an Emergency Department, Critical Care, Surgical, Medical, Maternity, Neonatology, Paediatrics, Geriatric and Aged Care, Cancer, Rehabilitation and Adult and Older Adult Mental Health Services. The St John of God Private Hospital has 60 beds and offers specialist medical and surgical care. Some infrastructure is shared by both the private and public patient facilities.



IPS were appointed to provide advisory services to the State’s Representative in the delivery of their role under the terms of the Design and Construction Agreement with the hospital operator – St John of God Health Care. IPS commenced the role in November 2012 and remained on the project until final completion in 2016. The project was extremely successful and IPS are proud to have been involved in the project.
