Hesperia engaged Insight Project Services to oversee and project manage the design and construction of the new Mainfreight Distribution Centre, constructed at Roe Highway Logistics Park in Perth , acting as Project Manager and Superintendent for the works.

The site is 56,315sqm and the new facility is designed specifically to suit the bespoke operational requirements of the Tenant. 

The facility consists of 20,900sqm internal warehouse space inclusive of dock offices and cool rooms along with a 1500m2 2 level office including a commercial kitchen and parking for 135 cars. The external hardstand comprises approximately 35,000sqm of heavy-duty and light-duty concrete pavement. The facility incorporates a specialist Dangerous Goods store area capable of storing up to 1550 pallets of across multiple classes. Dangerous Goods will be stored on specifically designed racking and fully protected with in rack fire detection, sprinklers and bunding. 

The Facility boasts a 1,000,000L Rainwater harvesting and treatment system along with 750kw roof top solar PV and Battery Storage for night time operations.

Mainfreight’s requirements were incorporated into the design from inception, with racking, loose furniture, security, IT, WIFI services all being delivered by IPS.
